One part on its own signs nothing, so no single holder can move your money.
If you choose to recover even after losing both your phone and your passkey, our recovery provider keeps a second part, and your Apple or Google sign-in alone can recover the wallet after seven days, with warnings you can stop with one tap.

What is a passkey?
The same thing that signs you into apps with your face. Apple or Google keeps it in sync, so it moves to your new phone with you.
What if I lose my phone?
If you set up recovery, your wallet comes back: on the new phone you sign in with Apple or Google and use your passkey, and 48 hours later it is yours again. Your passkey moves with your Apple or Google account, so an iPhone’s passkey does not reach an Android phone.
Can Pearl Safe move my money?
No. Every payment needs two of the three parts of your key. We hold one of them, sealed, and cannot open it, so we cannot spend your Pearl.
Can I take my wallet elsewhere?
Yes. Settings gives you a standard recovery phrase that opens the same wallet in the official Pearl desktop wallet. For your safety, revealing it takes 48 hours, timed by our server, so export it while the app works.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The app is free. When you send a payment, you pay the Pearl network fee, and it goes to the network.
Is Pearl Safe the official Pearl wallet?
Pearl Safe is an independent wallet made by Extra Watts B.V.. It works with the public Pearl network like any wallet and is not affiliated with Pearl Research Labs.
